Position Summary:


Assemble framing and panel components to produce cabinet doors and drawer fronts through proficiency in all assembly processes and proficiency in set up and operation of one or more of the following assembly presses:
• Miter Hydraulic Press
• Miter Carlson Press
• ELME Press
• M&T Hydraulic Press
• M&T Carlson Press
• Ritter Press


Essential Job Functions:


• Prepare components for assembly by properly applying yellow or hot melt glue
• Assemble cabinet doors and drawer fronts to product specifications using framing and panel components while meeting the production or piece count requirements of the job.
• Perform basic assembly press set ups.
• Monitor processes and make adjustments to materials or setups as needed
• Load and unload material from machines and carts
• Assure that all products maintain the highest standard of quality by understanding and utilizing the following:
o Work instructions, product specification sheets; operational storyboards; material specification sheets; machining specification sheets; critical checks; and successive inspection of parts to ensure accuracy.
• Detect and report defective material to the Team Leader.
• Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition following prescribed 5S and safety requirements. Perform minor preventive maintenance on equipment as needed.
• Follow all safety procedures. Identify and communicate safety issues or concerns to the Team Leader or Safety Specialist.
• Complete required training on all work instructions, SOP, policies and safety standards.
• Provide hands on job training to new hires or co-workers as needed.

Day Shift M-F
Pay: $15.00 Hour
